Salmon Cheese Bake is a rich and comforting dish made with tender salmon fillets topped with creamy melted cheese and baked until golden and bubbly. This flavorful recipe is easy to prepare and perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional garnish)
  • Chili flakes (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Place the salmon fillets into the baking dish.
  4. Season the salmon with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise or cream cheese, garlic, and lemon juice.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and golden.
  8. For extra browning, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end of cooking.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley, lemon wedges, or chili flakes if desired.
