Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
1–2 tsp sugar or simple syrup (optional)
1 cup Prosecco or sparkling wine, chilled
Ice (optional, for chilling purée)
Instructions
Wash and hull the strawberries, then blend until smooth to create a purée.
Strain the purée through a fine sieve if a smoother texture is desired.
Taste and add sugar or simple syrup if needed.
Chill the purée in the refrigerator or over ice.
Pour the purée into a champagne flute, filling about one-third.
Slowly top with chilled Prosecco or sparkling wine.
Stir gently and serve immediately.
Notes
Use ripe strawberries for the best natural sweetness.
Straining is optional but improves texture.
