Ingredients

  • 1 pound lobster ravioli
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small shallot or 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the lobster ravioli according to package instructions and drain carefully.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallot or onion and cook until softened and fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce and Italian seasoning.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes to develop flavor.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and slowly stir in the heavy cream until fully combined.
  7. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  8. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  9. Gently add the cooked lobster ravioli to the skillet and toss carefully to coat with the sauce.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add shrimp or scallops for extra seafood flavor.
  • A splash of white wine can add extra depth to the sauce.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Cook the sauce over low heat after adding cream to prevent separation.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Serve with garlic bread, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
