  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ pound shaved ribeye steak or thinly sliced beef
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices provolone cheese

  6. Transfer the vegetables to a plate.
  7. Add the shaved steak to the skillet.
  8. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  18. Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Ribeye steak provides the most authentic cheesesteak flavor and texture.
  • Store-bought pizza dough works well for a quick and easy preparation.
  • Pre-cooking the vegetables helps prevent a soggy pizza.
  • For extra richness, drizzle warm cheese sauce over the baked pizza.
  • Freeze leftover slices individually wrapped for up to 2 months.
  • Serve with Caesar salad, coleslaw, potato wedges, or onion rings.
