Masters pimento cheese is a creamy, tangy Southern classic made with sharp cheddar, smooth cream cheese, and sweet pimentos. Perfect as a spread, dip, or sandwich filling, it’s rich, flavorful, and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 jar (4 oz) diced pimentos, drained
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until well combined.
  3. Fold in drained pimentos.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper if using, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Mix until evenly combined.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to develop flavor.
  7. Stir before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
