Lobster Butter Sauce is a rich, silky sauce made with butter, garlic, lemon, and fresh herbs. Perfect for dipping lobster, crab, shrimp, and other seafood, this versatile sauce adds luxurious flavor and is ready in just minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Simmer gently for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  6. Stir in the fresh parsley.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Serve warm as a dipping sauce or drizzle over cooked lobster and seafood.

Notes

  • Use clarified butter for an extra smooth dipping sauce.
  • Double the garlic for a stronger garlic flavor.
  • Add white wine, Cajun seasoning, or fresh herbs for variation.
  • Do not brown the garlic, as it can become bitter.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Excellent with lobster, crab, shrimp, scallops, fish, vegetables, and steak.
