This Jasmine Matcha Latte is a creamy and calming drink that blends earthy matcha with delicate floral jasmine tea. Perfect hot or iced, it’s a refreshing café-style beverage with a smooth texture and lightly sweet flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 jasmine tea bag or 1 tsp loose jasmine tea
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • Optional additions: 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, whipped cream, ice cubes, dried jasmine flowers for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew the jasmine tea according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.
  3. Heat the milk in a saucepan or froth it using a milk frother until warm and creamy.
  4. Pour the brewed jasmine tea into a mug.
  5. Add the prepared matcha mixture and stir gently.
  6. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup to taste.
  7. Pour in the warm milk and stir until combined.
  8. For an iced version, allow the tea and matcha mixture to cool slightly, then pour over ice and add cold milk.
  9. Garnish with dried jasmine flowers if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ceremonial grade matcha provides the smoothest and brightest flavor.
  • Whisk the matcha thoroughly to avoid clumps.
  • Oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk work well for dairy-free versions.
  • Add vanilla extract or lavender syrup for extra floral sweetness.
  • This latte can be served hot, iced, or blended with ice for a frozen version.
  • Leftover brewed jasmine tea can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • Honey, maple syrup, or simple syrup all pair nicely with the floral flavor profile.
