A rich and indulgent no-bake dessert made with crushed biscuits and chocolate, shaped into a log and sliced into beautiful mosaic-like rounds.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups dark or milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth.
  2. Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
  3. If using, mix in the egg quickly while mixture is warm.
  4. Add crushed biscuits and mix until evenly coated.
  5. Spoon mixture onto parchment paper and shape into a log.
  6. Roll tightly and twist ends to secure.
  7. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm.
  8. Unwrap and roll in powdered sugar.
  9. Slice into rounds and serve.

Notes

  • Add nuts or dried fruit for extra texture.
  • Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Add coffee or liqueur for depth.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze for up to 2 months.
