The Xanadu Mocktail is a bright, refreshing alcohol-free drink combining tropical fruit juices, fresh citrus, and sparkling bubbles. Its colorful presentation and sweet-tangy flavor make it perfect for parties, celebrations, and warm-weather gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Pineapple juice
  • Orange juice
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Passion fruit juice or nectar
  • Grenadine
  • Sparkling water or lemon-lime soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Orange slices, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for garnish
  • Pineapple wedges, for garnish
  • Maraschino cherries, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker or large jar halfway with ice.
  2. Add the pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, passion fruit juice, and a small splash of grenadine.
  3. Cover and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled.
  4. Fill two serving glasses with fresh ice.
  5. Strain the chilled fruit mixture into the glasses.
  6. Top each glass with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
  7. Stir gently to combine while preserving the carbonation.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint and your choice of orange slices, lime wedges, pineapple wedges, or maraschino cherries.
  9. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

  • Use mango nectar, guava juice, or additional pineapple juice instead of passion fruit juice.
  • Add cranberry juice, blood orange juice, muddled berries, or coconut water for different flavor variations.
  • Ginger ale can replace sparkling water for a sweeter finish.
  • For a less sweet drink, use unsweetened sparkling water and reduce or omit the grenadine.
  • For a frozen version, blend the fruit juice mixture with ice until smooth and slushy.
  • The still fruit juice mixture can be refrigerated in a covered container for up to 2 days.
  • Add ice and sparkling water immediately before serving for the best carbonation.
  • For a larger batch, multiply the ingredients as needed and combine the juices in a pitcher, adding the sparkling ingredient just before serving.
