  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
  • Optional crushed pistachios or walnuts for garnish
  • Crostini, crackers, or fresh vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine the goat cheese, cream cheese, and olive oil.
  2. Blend or whip until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  3. Transfer the whipped goat cheese to a serving plate or shallow bowl and spread evenly.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, red pepper flakes, and hot sauce.
  5. Warm the mixture for 1–2 minutes until slightly infused and easy to drizzle.
  6. Spoon the hot honey over the whipped goat cheese.
  7. Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary and crushed nuts if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with crostini, crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • Allow the cheeses to soften at room temperature before blending for the smoothest texture.
  • Use store-bought hot honey for a quicker version.
  • Add roasted garlic or lemon zest for extra flavor.
  • Top with fresh figs, pears, or chili crisp for a creative variation.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Serve the whipped goat cheese chilled or at room temperature with warm hot honey.
