A crisp and refreshing wedge salad made with crunchy iceberg lettuce, creamy blue cheese dressing, and savory toppings. It’s a simple yet satisfying dish with bold textures and flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 6 slices crispy bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Remove any wilted outer leaves from the iceberg lettuce and cut it into quarters, keeping the core intact.
  2. Rinse the wedges under cold water and pat them dry thoroughly.
  3. Place each wedge on a serving plate.
  4. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over each wedge.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese on top.
  6. Add cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion.
  7. Top with crispy bacon pieces.
  8. Season lightly with salt and black pepper and drizzle olive oil if desired.
  9. Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.
