Ingredients
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimentos, drained
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt, to taste
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, stir the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise together until smooth and creamy.
Mix in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
Fold in the freshly shredded cheddar cheese and drained diced pimentos until evenly combined.
Taste and season with salt as needed.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to develop.
Serve chilled with crackers, fresh vegetables, pretzels, toasted bread, or as a sandwich spread.
Notes
Use extra-sharp cheddar cheese for a bolder flavor.
Add chopped jalapeños, cooked crumbled bacon, or green onions for tasty variations.
Substitute part of the cheddar with smoked cheddar for a smoky twist.
Blend the dip until smooth if you prefer a creamier texture.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir before serving and do not freeze.
