Turkey and Cheese Sliders are a savory and crowd-pleasing dish featuring lean turkey, melty cheese, and soft buns. Perfect for parties, family gatherings, or a quick weeknight meal, these sliders are easy to make and customizable to suit any taste.

Ingredients

  1. 12 slider buns (preferably Hawaiian or soft dinner rolls)
1 pound sliced turkey breast (deli or roasted)
6 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or provolone work well)
    1/4 cup butter, melted
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them attached in one piece. Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  1. Layer the turkey slices evenly over the bottom half of the buns. Place a slice of cheese on top of the turkey, then place the top halves of the buns over the cheese, forming complete sliders.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey (if using), Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the glaze over the top of the assembled sliders, ensuring the buns are well coated.
  4. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 10-12 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Slice into individual portions and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve and enjoy!

  1. Cheese Varieties: Use mozzarella, cheddar, or pepper jack for different flavors.

  3. Spicy Option: Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  4. Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  5. Reheating: Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, or in the microwave.
