A creamy and nutty tahini sauce made with lemon juice, garlic, and simple pantry ingredients. This versatile condiment is perfect for salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables, wraps, and grilled dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Add the tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and cumin to a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until combined.
  3. Slowly add the cold water a little at a time while continuing to whisk.
  4. Continue adding water until the sauce reaches the desired consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.
