Taco Pinwheels are creamy, flavorful tortilla roll-ups filled with seasoned meat, cheese, and fresh taco-inspired ingredients. Perfect for parties, lunch boxes, game days, or quick snacks, these bite-sized pinwheels are easy to make and always crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups cooked ground beef or shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • Optional: sliced black olives
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños
  • Optional: diced avocado
  • Optional: salsa
  • Optional: corn kernels
  • Optional: chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.
  2. Stir in the cooked meat and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly mixed.
  3. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean work surface.
  4. Spread the taco mixture evenly over each tortilla.
  5. Add lettuce, diced tomatoes, green onions, and any optional toppings.
  6. Roll each tortilla tightly into a log shape.
  7. Wrap the rolls tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from the refrigerator and slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
  9. Arrange on a serving platter and serve chilled.
