Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced into bite-sized rounds
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or sliced green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice the kielbasa into evenly sized rounds.
  2. Whisk together the barbecue sauce, honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the kielbasa slices for 4 to 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
  4. Pour the sauce over the kielbasa and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
