Super Easy Seven Layer Bean Dip is a no-cook, crowd-pleasing appetizer made with layers of seasoned refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, olives, and green onions. Perfect for parties, potlucks, and game day snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 3/4 cup salsa or pico de gallo (drained)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Optional: diced tomatoes, jalapeños, chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix refried beans with taco seasoning until well combined.
  2. Spread the seasoned beans into the bottom of an 8×8-inch dish or serving tray.
  3. Spread sour cream evenly over the bean layer.
  4. Add a layer of guacamole, spreading gently to avoid mixing layers.
  5. Top with drained salsa or pico de gallo.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the salsa.
  7. Top with sliced olives and chopped green onions.
  8. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Drain salsa well to prevent watery layers.
  • Add lime juice over guacamole to reduce browning.
  • Assemble in individual jars for portioned servings.
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter option.
  • Best served cold with tortilla chips or veggies.
