This Strawberry Mango Smoothie blends frozen strawberries, tropical mango, banana, Greek yogurt, and orange juice into a thick and refreshing drink. It is a quick, naturally fruity option for breakfast, a snack, or a warm-weather drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 ripe banana, preferably frozen
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, optional
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes, optional

Instructions

  1. Pour the orange juice into the blender first to help the ingredients blend smoothly.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, frozen mango, and banana.
  3. Add the chia seeds if using.
  4. Blend on high until the fruit is completely broken down and the smoothie is thick and creamy.
  5. Taste the smoothie before adding sweetener. If additional sweetness is desired, add honey or maple syrup.
  6. Blend again until the sweetener is fully incorporated.
  7. Adjust the consistency as needed. Add another splash of orange juice if the smoothie is too thick, or add ice cubes or extra frozen fruit for a colder, thicker consistency.
  8. Blend until completely smooth, pour into a glass, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For an extra-creamy smoothie, add an additional half or whole frozen banana.
  • Add about 1/2 cup frozen pineapple for a more tropical flavor, or substitute pineapple juice for the orange juice.
  • For a coconut variation, replace the orange juice with coconut milk or coconut water.
  • For extra protein, add a scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder and increase the liquid as needed.
  • For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free yogurt or omit the Greek yogurt.
  • Fresh strawberries and mango can be used, but add ice or a frozen banana for a thicker, colder texture.
  • For a banana-free smoothie, replace the banana with additional frozen mango, Greek yogurt, or a little avocado.
  • The smoothie is best served immediately but can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. Shake, stir, or blend again before serving.
  • Leftover smoothie can be frozen in ice cube trays and reblended with a splash of orange juice.
