Strawberry Fluff Salad is a light, creamy, and refreshing no-bake dessert made with whipped topping, juicy strawberries, marshmallows, and strawberry pudding or gelatin. It’s a colorful, crowd-pleasing treat that’s perfect for potlucks, picnics, holidays, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries, diced
  • Instant strawberry pudding mix or strawberry gelatin mix
  • Whipped topping, thawed
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • Bananas, sliced (optional)
  • Chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Sweetened shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash, hull, and dice the strawberries.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry pudding mix or gelatin mix with the whipped topping until evenly blended.
  3. Fold in the diced strawberries, drained crushed pineapple, and mini marshmallows.
  4. Add the sliced bananas, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut if using.
  5. Gently fold everything together until evenly combined.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the marshmallows to soften.
  7. Stir gently before serving and garnish with additional fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • Drain the crushed pineapple well to keep the salad thick and fluffy.
  • Add sliced bananas just before serving to minimize browning.
  • Stabilized homemade whipped cream can be used instead of whipped topping.
  • Pudding mix creates a creamier texture, while gelatin gives a lighter fruit flavor.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing is not recommended because the texture will change after thawing.
