Sriracha Mayo is a quick, creamy sauce with tangy lime, savory garlic, and a customizable spicy kick. It is perfect as a dip, sandwich spread, burger sauce, or drizzle for tacos, bowls, and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey, optional
  • Pinch of salt, optional

Instructions

  1. Add the mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce to a small mixing bowl.
  2. Add the fresh lime juice and garlic powder.
  3. Whisk until the sauce is completely smooth and evenly colored.
  4. Taste and adjust the spice level, adding more Sriracha for extra heat or more mayonnaise for a milder sauce.
  5. Stir in the honey for a slightly sweeter flavor, if desired. Add a pinch of salt if needed.
  6. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • For a milder sauce, reduce the Sriracha and increase the mayonnaise.
  • For extra heat, add more Sriracha or a small pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Honey can be replaced with maple syrup for a slightly different sweetness.
  • For more citrus flavor, add extra lime juice or freshly grated lime zest.
  • Lemon juice or rice vinegar can substitute for the lime juice.
  • For a thinner drizzling consistency, gradually whisk in a small amount of water or additional lime juice.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within about 1 week for the best quality. Stir before serving if separation occurs.
  • Freezing is not recommended because mayonnaise-based sauces can separate after thawing.
