Spinach Greek Yogurt Smoothie is a creamy, refreshing, and protein-packed drink made with fresh spinach, Greek yogurt, fruit, and milk. It’s a quick and nutritious option for breakfast, post-workout recovery, or a healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach
  • Plain Greek yogurt
  • Banana (fresh or frozen)
  • Frozen mango or pineapple chunks (optional)
  • Milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • Honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Vanilla extract
  • Chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
  • Ice cubes (if using fresh fruit)

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly and prepare the fruit.
  2. Add the spinach, Greek yogurt, banana, mango or pineapple if using, milk, and vanilla extract to a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if additional sweetness is desired.
  5. Blend in the chia seeds or flaxseeds if using.
  6. Add ice cubes if desired and blend again until smooth.
  7. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Frozen spinach works well and creates a colder, thicker smoothie.
  • Use flavored Greek yogurt for extra sweetness if preferred.
  • Add berries, protein powder, nut butter, kale, avocado, or hemp seeds for easy variations.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and shake well before serving.
  • Freeze leftovers in popsicle molds or ice cube trays for a refreshing snack.
  • Use frozen fruit or extra Greek yogurt for a thicker smoothie.
