Spicy Roasted Almonds are a crunchy, savory snack packed with bold spices and just the right amount of heat. Perfect for entertaining, gifting, or everyday snacking, these roasted almonds are easy to make and irresistibly flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the almonds in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the almonds and toss to coat evenly.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar if using.
  6. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the almonds and toss until well coated.
  7. Spread the almonds in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow the almonds to cool completely.
  10. Serve immediately or store for later.
