Spicy Mango Sauce is a vibrant condiment that combines the tropical sweetness of ripe mangoes with the bold heat of fresh chili peppers. Perfect as a dip, glaze, marinade, or drizzle, it adds bright flavor and a spicy kick to countless dishes.

Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 small red chili pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons water, if needed

Instructions

  1. Add the diced mangoes, jalapeño, red chili pepper, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, garlic, and salt to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, if needed to reach the desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness, acidity, or spice level as desired.
  5. Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl or airtight container.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate to allow the flavors to develop.
