Ingredients
all-purpose flour
warm milk
active dry yeast
sugar
salt
olive oil or butter
egg
mozzarella cheese
feta cheese
sesame seeds
Instructions
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, salt, oil, and egg. Knead until a soft dough forms.
Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Mix mozzarella and feta cheese in a bowl.
Divide dough into portions and roll each into an oval shape.
Place cheese in the center, fold edges inward, and pinch ends to form a boat shape.
Brush edges with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
Optionally, crack an egg in the center during the last few minutes of baking.
Notes
Substitute cheeses like sulguni or cheddar for variation.
Add fresh herbs like parsley or dill for extra flavor.
Top with butter after baking for a richer taste.
