Ingredients

  • 4 salmon steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon steaks dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Brush the seasoning mixture over both sides of the salmon steaks.
  4. Heat a grill pan, skillet, or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the salmon steaks for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Avoid overcooking to keep the salmon moist and tender.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon for 15–30 minutes before cooking.
  • Use Cajun seasoning for a spicy variation.
  • Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes if preferred.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently to avoid drying out the salmon.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or fresh salads.
