Roasted Party Nut Mix is a crunchy, savory snack made with a blend of roasted nuts coated in smoky, flavorful seasonings. It’s perfect for parties, holidays, game days, or everyday snacking and stores beautifully for make-ahead entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, and peanuts)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted, or olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter or olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, rosemary, salt, black pepper, optional cayenne, and optional brown sugar or honey.
  3. Add the mixed nuts and toss until evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Spread the nuts into a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring every 8 to 10 minutes for even browning.
  6. Remove the nuts from the oven when fragrant and lightly toasted.
  7. Allow the nut mix to cool completely so it becomes crisp.
  8. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Add pretzels or cereal squares for extra crunch.
  • Mix in dried cranberries or raisins after the nuts have cooled.
  • Use maple syrup instead of brown sugar for a richer sweet-and-savory flavor.
  • For extra heat, increase the cayenne pepper or add chili flakes.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, refrigerate for up to 1 month, or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Refresh the crunch by warming in a 300°F (150°C) oven for about 5 minutes.
