Ingredients
12 slider buns or dinner rolls
12 oz deli roast beef
6–8 slices provolone or Swiss cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible.
Place the bottom half of the buns in a baking dish.
Layer roast beef evenly over the buns, followed by cheese slices.
Place the top half of the buns over the filling.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Brush the mixture over the tops of the buns and sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
Let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Add caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
Use cheddar or mozzarella instead of provolone or Swiss.
Try horseradish sauce for a bold twist.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the oven covered with foil to maintain texture.
