A hearty ravioli casserole layered with tender pasta, rich marinara meat sauce, and melted cheese, baked until bubbly and golden. An easy, comforting dish perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces refrigerated or frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef or sausage
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce and season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Spread a thin layer of sauce in a greased baking dish.
  7. Add a layer of ravioli.
  8. Top with meat sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
  9. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese.
  10. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
  11. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  12. Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  13. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  • Add vegetables like mushrooms or spinach.
