Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls, kept connected
  • 1/4 pound sliced ham
  • 1/4 pound sliced Genoa salami
  • 1/4 pound sliced pepperoni
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup banana pepper rings
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the connected slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard evenly over the cut side of the rolls.
  5. Layer the ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, and banana pepper rings evenly over the rolls.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
  7. Whisk together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and poppy seeds if using.
  8. Brush the seasoned butter generously over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  11. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, slice apart, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute turkey, roast beef, capicola, or mortadella for any of the deli meats.
  • Use mozzarella, Swiss, fontina, or cheddar instead of provolone if preferred.
  • Add sliced tomatoes, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • Spread pesto instead of mayonnaise for a fresh herb variation.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10–15 minutes for the best texture.
