Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese or sandwich spread
  • 12 oz deli meat such as turkey, ham, or roast beef
  • 8 slices cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce or spinach
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: ranch dressing
  • Optional: mustard
  • Optional: sliced pickles
  • Optional: sliced avocado
  • Optional: cooked bacon
  • Optional: sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean work surface.
  2. Spread cream cheese or your preferred sandwich spread evenly over each tortilla.
  3. Layer deli meat and cheese evenly across the tortillas.
  4. Add lettuce or spinach, shredded carrots, bell peppers, and any optional fillings.
  5. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  6. Roll each tortilla tightly into a log shape.
  7. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help firm the rolls for slicing.
  9. Remove the plastic wrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels.
  10. Arrange on a serving platter and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Large soft flour tortillas work best for easy rolling.
  • Roll tightly and chill before slicing to help the pinwheels hold their shape.
  • Use spinach or tomato tortillas for extra color and flavor.
  • Swap cream cheese with hummus, ranch spread, or pesto for variety.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing is not recommended because fresh vegetables may become soggy.
  • Slice just before serving for the freshest presentation.
