2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
1 cup oat milk
1 teaspoon maple syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Ground cinnamon or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Brew the espresso or strong coffee and set aside.
Heat the oat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
Froth the oat milk using a milk frother, whisk, or blender until light and foamy.
Pour the espresso into a mug.
Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract if using.
Slowly pour the warmed oat milk into the mug.
Spoon the foam on top.
Garnish with cinnamon or cocoa powder if desired.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Use barista-style oat milk for the best froth and texture.
For an iced version, use chilled oat milk and serve over ice.
Add vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, or mocha syrup for extra flavor.
Mix in cinnamon before frothing for a spiced latte variation.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Reheat gently and re-froth before serving if desired.
