Flaky puff pastry twists filled with rich chocolate-hazelnut spread, baked until golden and crisp for a quick and irresistible sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • Nutella or chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • Egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly to smooth the surface.
  3. Spread a thin, even layer of Nutella over half of the pastry.
  4. Fold the pastry over to cover the filling.
  5. Cut into strips and twist each strip several times.
  6. Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature.
