This no churn strawberry jam ice cream is rich, creamy, and filled with beautiful swirls of sweet strawberry jam. Made with just a handful of ingredients and no ice cream maker, it’s an easy make-ahead dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • Fresh strawberries, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill a large mixing bowl and beaters before starting.
  2. Whip the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture until fully combined.
  5. Spoon one-third of the mixture into a freezer-safe container.
  6. Drizzle some strawberry jam over the mixture and gently swirl it with a knife.
  7. Repeat the layers until all of the ice cream mixture and jam have been used.
  8. If using fresh strawberries, fold or sprinkle them between the layers.
  9. Cover the container tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.
  10. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

  • Use homemade strawberry jam for an even fresher flavor.
  • Swap the strawberry jam with raspberry, blueberry, or cherry jam for a different variation.
  • Mix in mini chocolate chips, crushed vanilla sandwich cookies, or chopped toasted nuts for extra texture.
  • Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface before sealing to help prevent ice crystals.
  • Store in an airtight freezer-safe container for up to 2 weeks.
  • Allow the ice cream to soften for several minutes before serving for the creamiest texture.
