  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 12 slider buns, kept connected
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or chopped fresh parsley
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Mayonnaise (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until just mixed.
  3. Press the beef mixture into a large rectangle and cook it in a skillet or bake until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  4. Slice the connected slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact.
  5. Place the bottom half of the buns into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Transfer the cooked beef onto the buns, trimming if necessary to fit evenly.
  7. Arrange the cheddar cheese over the warm beef.
  8. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese.
  9. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley.
  10. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are lightly golden.
  12. Separate the sliders and top with pickle slices, ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute pepper jack, Swiss, American, or Colby Jack cheese for a different flavor.
  • Add cooked bacon, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, or sliced jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • Use ground turkey or ground chicken for a lighter variation.
  • Assemble the sliders a few hours ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat in a 350°F oven for 8–10 minutes and add fresh toppings after reheating.
