Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz) refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. If using frozen ravioli, place them in a microwave-safe bowl with water and microwave for a few minutes to partially cook and separate them. Drain excess water.
  2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a microwave-safe dish.
  3. Add a layer of ravioli, then top with marinara sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  4. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
  5. Cover the dish loosely with a microwave-safe lid or wrap, leaving a small vent for steam.
  6. Microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes, pausing halfway to stir gently or rotate for even cooking.
  7. Check that ravioli are tender and heated through, then let sit for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste before serving.
