Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir the taco seasoning into the beef with a small amount of water according to the package directions.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough onto a pizza pan or baking sheet and lightly brush the edges with olive oil.
  5. Spread a thin layer of refried beans over the crust.
  6. Spoon the tomato sauce or enchilada sauce evenly over the beans.
  7. Scatter the seasoned ground beef over the pizza.
  8. Sprinkle the Mexican cheese blend and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  10. Let the pizza cool for 2–3 minutes.
  11. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, avocado, sour cream, or salsa as desired.
  12. Slice and serve immediately.
