  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Purple sanding sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease or line a baking pan with parchment paper.

  7. Add the remaining batter on top and smooth evenly.
  8. Bake for 22 to 28 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bars to cool completely.
  10. Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and spread over the cooled bars.
  11. Decorate with purple, green, and gold sanding sugar. Slice into bars and serve.
