Ingredients
4 pita breads
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon paprika or za’atar (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut each pita bread into triangles or desired shapes.
Separate the layers if the pita has pockets for thinner, crispier chips.
Place the pita pieces in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
Sprinkle with salt and optional seasonings, then toss to coat evenly.
Arrange the pita pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
Notes
Separate pita layers for extra crispiness.
Add parmesan for a cheesy variation.
Use cinnamon and sugar for a sweet version.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Reheat briefly in the oven if chips lose crispness.
