Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  4. Place the chicken in a large bowl or on a plate.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, oregano, thyme, parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  8. Arrange the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  9. Drizzle with lemon juice if using.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  11. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
  12. Slice and serve warm.
