Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
23 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh or frozen berries or chopped fruit (optional)
Optional toppings: chopped nuts, shredded coconut, dark chocolate chips

Instructions

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  1. Fold in berries or chopped fruit if using.
  2. Spoon mixture into silicone molds or a lined loaf pan.
  3. Sprinkle nuts, coconut, or chocolate chips on top, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until solid.
  5. Remove bars from molds or slice if using a loaf pan. Enjoy immediately or store in the freezer.

Notes

  1. Use coconut or almond milk yogurt alternatives for a dairy-free version.
  2. Add cocoa powder or matcha powder to the yogurt base for flavor variations.
  3. Create layered bars with different fruit purees or yogurt flavors.
  4. Mix granola into the yogurt before freezing for added crunch.
  5. Store frozen bars in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
  6. Let bars sit at room temperature a few minutes before eating for easier biting.
  7. Use flavored yogurt but adjust sweeteners accordingly.
  8. Prevent freezer burn by storing bars in airtight containers or wrapping well.
  9. Use a lined baking dish if molds are unavailable and cut into bars after freezing.
  10. Adjust sweeteners to taste and add protein powder for extra nutrition if desired.
  11. Fresh or frozen fruit both work well.
  12. Suitable and refreshing treat for kids.
  13. Double recipe by using larger molds or multiple pans.
