This Green Smoothie is a refreshing and nutrient-packed drink made with leafy greens, fruit, and creamy yogurt blended to perfection. Naturally sweet and energizing, it’s an easy way to enjoy more fruits and vegetables any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add the almond milk to a blender.
  2. Add the spinach, banana, frozen mango, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and honey if using.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
  5. Stop and scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.
  6. Blend again until no leafy pieces remain.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  8. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Frozen fruit creates a thicker and creamier smoothie.
  • Kale can be substituted for spinach for a stronger green flavor.
