This layered leftovers bake transforms mashed potatoes, turkey, and stuffing into a comforting, all-in-one dish with rich flavors and a satisfyingly crispy top.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups leftover mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
  • 3 cups leftover stuffing
  • 1 cup gravy
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs such as parsley or thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Spread mashed potatoes evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  4. Add a layer of shredded turkey on top.
  5. Spoon gravy evenly over the turkey.
  6. Layer stuffing over the turkey mixture.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top if using.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on top.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
