Rich, dense fudge brownies with an intensely chocolatey flavor, a soft gooey center, and a slightly crisp top. These classic treats are easy to make and perfect for any chocolate craving.

Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter
  • Dark chocolate or cocoa powder
  • Granulated sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • All-purpose flour
  • Cocoa powder (optional for extra richness)
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and dark chocolate together until smooth, or mix cocoa powder with melted butter if not using chocolate.
  3. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract until glossy.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder (if using), and salt.
  6. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
  9. Cool completely before slicing.
