Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in egg and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt, then combine with the wet mixture to form a dough.
  4. Press dough evenly onto the prepared pan in a circular shape.

  9. Brush with warmed apricot jam or honey if using for a glossy finish.
  10. Slice and serve.
