Fluffy Pumpkin Latte is a cozy coffeehouse-style drink made with real pumpkin puree, espresso, warm spices, and frothy milk. Rich, creamy, and full of autumn flavor, it’s the perfect comforting beverage for cool mornings and afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup, honey, or brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: whipped cream
  • Optional: additional pumpkin pie spice
  • Optional: ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
  2. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the milk and whisk until fully combined and heated through without boiling.
  4. Use a milk frother, immersion blender, or whisk to froth the milk mixture until light and fluffy.
  5. Brew the espresso or strong coffee and pour it into a large mug.
  6. Slowly pour the frothy pumpkin milk mixture over the coffee.
  7. Spoon any remaining foam on top.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use oat milk, almond milk, soy milk, or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Whole milk and barista-style oat milk create the richest foam.
  • Add extra vanilla extract or vanilla syrup for a sweeter vanilla flavor.
  • For a cold version, chill the pumpkin milk mixture and serve over ice.
  • The pumpkin milk base can be prepared up to 2 days in advance and refrigerated.
