Fish Sliders are crispy and flavorful mini sandwiches filled with tender breaded fish, fresh toppings, and creamy sauce on soft slider buns. Perfect for parties, game days, or quick dinners, these bite-sized sandwiches are easy to customize and always crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish fillets such as cod or tilapia
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 12 slider buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Tartar sauce or mayonnaise
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the fish fillets into small slider-sized pieces.
  2. In one bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place beaten eggs in a second bowl and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge each fish piece in the flour mixture, dip into the eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the fish pieces for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Transfer the cooked fish to a paper towel-lined plate.
  8. Toast the slider buns lightly if desired.
  9. Assemble the sliders with lettuce, tomato, pickles, fried fish, and tartar sauce.
  10. Serve warm with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Use cod, haddock, pollock, or tilapia for best results.
  • For a lighter option, bake or air fry the fish instead of frying.
  • Add cayenne pepper or spicy mayo for extra heat.
  • Store leftover fish separately from buns and toppings.
  • Reheat fish in the oven or air fryer to keep it crispy.
  • Serve with fries, coleslaw, or chips for a complete meal.
