Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork or chicken
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Stir in coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage.
  5. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha if using.
  6. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until vegetables are tender but slightly crisp.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
  9. Serve warm.
