Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread (cubed, day-old or slightly stale)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (parsley, oregano, or Italian seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cut bread into evenly sized cubes.
  3. Place bread cubes in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Add garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and dried herbs.
  5. Toss until bread is evenly coated.
  6. Spread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10–15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving or storing.
