A colorful Easter charcuterie board filled with creamy cheeses, savory cured meats, crackers, fresh fruit, crisp vegetables, dips, and festive chocolate eggs. This easy no-cook appetizer is perfect for Easter brunch, lunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

  • Brie cheese, small wheel or wedge
  • Cheddar cheese, cubed or sliced
  • Goat cheese
  • Salami, thinly sliced
  • Prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • Assorted crackers
  • Baguette slices, fresh or toasted
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Grapes
  • Baby carrots or carrot sticks
  • Cucumber, sliced into rounds
  • Radishes, sliced or whole
  • Hummus
  • Honey
  • Mixed nuts, such as almonds or pecans
  • Olives
  • Mini chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Choose a large serving board, platter, or tray with enough room for all of the ingredients.
  2. Place small bowls on the board first for the hummus, honey, olives, nuts, or other ingredients that are easier to contain.
  3. Position the Brie, cheddar, and goat cheese around the board, leaving space between them to create separate sections.
  4. Arrange the salami and prosciutto around the cheeses. Fold, roll, or loosely bunch the slices to create texture and make them easy to pick up.
  5. Add the crackers and baguette slices around the cheeses and meats, arranging them in rows or small stacks.
  6. Fill larger open areas with strawberries, grapes, carrots, cucumber, and radishes.
  7. Add nuts, olives, and other small ingredients to fill gaps between larger items.
  8. Scatter mini chocolate eggs in small clusters around the board for a festive Easter touch, keeping them separate from the savory ingredients when possible.
  9. Check for empty spaces and fill them with additional fruit, vegetables, crackers, or nuts until the board looks abundant.
  10. Serve soon after assembling, keeping perishable ingredients properly chilled until serving time.

Notes

  • For an Easter brunch variation, add mini croissants, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, berries, sliced fruit, and jam.
  • For a vegetarian board, omit the cured meats and add extra cheese, hummus, nuts, vegetables, olives, marinated artichokes, and roasted peppers.
  • For a sweeter board, add more chocolate eggs, pastel candies, cookies, chocolate-covered pretzels, and fresh berries.
  • For a Mediterranean-inspired board, use feta, hummus, pita chips, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, roasted peppers, and marinated vegetables.
  • Individual mini charcuterie plates can be prepared instead of one large board for individual Easter place settings.
  • For advance preparation, arrange refrigerated ingredients on the board, cover, and refrigerate. Add crackers, bread, nuts, and chocolates shortly before serving.
  • Refrigerate perishable leftovers promptly in separate airtight containers. Store crackers and other dry ingredients separately at room temperature to maintain their texture.
