- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter or oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or melted chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate frosting or ganache
- 1 cup mini chocolate eggs or Easter candies

- In another bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, butter or oil, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Stir in chocolate chips or melted chocolate.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Spread frosting or ganache evenly over the cake.
- Decorate with mini chocolate eggs or candies.
- Slice and serve.
